Boots

This is my boot tutorials, hope you enjoy. Remember to read my terms first!

*This tutorials can be used in any graphic program.

1. First start by selecting your base. I have choosen to use the "moe" base by DHF. And then select your palette. You can use of the palettes from my leather range.

2. Once your done selecting your base. using the FIRST colour in your palette, very roughly and thickly outlinethe shape of the boot you want.

TIP: some times when you follow the shape of the foot on yoru base, your boots look a little funny. So try what i have done, and create your own shape. Also the trick is to keep the inside of the outline very rigid.

One thing you have to remember is your using black, so no pillow shading!

3 Get rid of any "foot" you have sticking out, and smooth out the shape of the boot. But remeber boots aren't perfectly lined, they have creases
4.Next, Fill in your boots with the second colour from you palette

5.Shade your boots very roughly with the third colour from you palette, so that you only see little of the second colour from palette.

Tip: Again make the shading quite rough, as this all adds the the effect of "leather boots"

6.Now, Take the fourth colour, and begin again to add shading, if you look at the left boot, the shading almost looks the like colour is begin "pulled apart" This is where the leather catches the ligh. And with the righ boot, i have used the colour very gentally in a downward motion to foloow the shape of the boot. be careful with this part, don't go to over board, but try not to make it neat.
7.Almost there! Take the fifth colour, and gentally (i meann gentally) add a fell small lines of blobs of this colour, and where you think the leather would crease. and catch the light. DO NOT GO OVER BOARD, or it'll end up lookreally freaky.

8. You can leave it as it is now. Or if your really confindant use the last colour in the palette to carefully highlight the boots.

Tip: Use dots of short lines for this part. And only put then in the middle of the fifth colour. Just be careful, and don't use to much.

And there you go! All done!

And if you want.... Youc can use other colours.....
